The Education Ministry is urging on parents to report incidents of funds being collected from students at government schools for various purposes.
Education Secretary Nihal Ranasinghe told Times Online that the Education Ministry has not issued any circular regarding the collection of funds from students under any circumstances.
He urged that parents must report such incidents incidents by sending their complaint along with documented details of such requests to the Ministry.
