Eleven Uva Wellassa Uni students remanded over ragging incident
Eleven students of the Uva Wellassa university who were arrested on charges of ragging have been been remanded until tomorrow (Nov 13).
The suspects were ordered to be remanded after being produced before the Badulla Magistrate's Court today. They face charges under the Ragging Act.
Police had apprehended the suspects, who are Third Year students, yesterday for allegedly ragging four junior students at the university.
