The Government put off the debate on the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance Bill which was scheduled for today.
Leader of the House Minister Lakshman Kiriella said the Government work not move to Bill today but did not give a reason for the decision.
Several members of the Buddhist clergy have in recent days voiced their concern regarding the Bill.
