Former parliamentarian Justin Galappaththi passed away at the age of 68 while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo today (Dec 24).
Galappaththi entered active politics in 1978 and was first elected to parliament under the United National Party ticket in 2002.
His final rites will be performed on Thrusday.
