The Jaffna International Airport had its maiden Indian flight arrival, moments after it was declared open today (Oct 17).
Alliance flight VT-RKM carrying a delegation of 30 members arrived at the airport, where international flight services are expected to begin from November.
The airport was declared open by President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe this morning.
