Over forty motorists have been arrested for speed riding in the streets of Colombo and Gampaha districts during the weekend, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said a special operation was conducted during the weekend after a speeding rider knocked and killed two toddlers and an unborn child while severely injuring their expecting mother in Egoda Uyana, Moratuwa last week.
