Four persons have been arrested yesterday (Sept 20) for carrying out a series of thefts at supermarkets, police said.
The suspects who are between the ages of 27 and 30 are residents of Maharagama.
They are believed to have carried out thefts at supermarkets in Thalangama, Maharagama, Piliyandala, Kohuwala, Moratumulla, Mirihana, and Kottawa areas.
Police added that the suspects would be produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate's court today.
