Four held with large haul of Kerala Cannabis
Naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command arrested four persons with approximately 80 kg of Kerala Cannabis yesterday, Navy said.
The boat was intercepted the suspicious boat by means of which the suspects attempted to transfer cannabis to the country, in the seas off Kachchathivu Island.
Having brought the suspects and stock of cannabis to SLNS Elara in Kareinagar, they were handed over to the Officials of Police Special Task Force, Jaffna for onward legal action.
