The Department of Examinations has announced that tuition classes for G C E Advanced Level (A/L) and Grade Five scholarship students will be banned from the end of this month owing to the holding of these public exams.
Accordingly, A/L classes will be banned from midnight on July 30 while Grade Five Scholarship classes will be banned from July 31 for candidates attempting the exam this year.
The Examinations Department stated that organizing classes, lectures, and workshops for this year’s candidates would be prohibited from the given dates until the end of the exams.
In addition, displaying posters, banners, or distributing leaflets, which invite children under the pretext of providing model papers and targeted questions for the final exams would also be prohibited.

The A/L exams will be held from August 5 until August 31 across 2678 exam centres while the Grade Five Scholarship exam will be held on August 4 across 2995 centres.
