The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) launched an island-wide 24-hour token strike at 8.00am today over the failure by the Government to address several demands.
The GMOA strike is related to issues surrounding the South Asian Institute of Technonology and Medicine (SAITM) in Malabe.
However, the GMOA has stressed that emergency services and dengue treatment units will be unaffected by the strike.
