The 24-hour token strike launched by the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) has crippled health services in the country from this morning.
The strike, which was launched at 8.00am, is against the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed with Singapore.
The following pictures are from the Puttalam Base Hospital, where Out Patient Department (OPD) services were shut due to the strike, severely inconveniencing patients.
