Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera called on President Maithripala Sirisena along with his mother yesterday (May 23), the President's Media Division reported.
The Thera and his mother had visited the President at his official residence down Mahagama Sekara Mawatha last night.
According to the President's Media Division, the Thera's mother had thanked the President for his decision to grant a Presidential pardon.
The BBS General Secretary was sentenced to a six-year imprisonment term after he was found guilt over contempt of court.
