Gnanasara thero arrested
General Secretary of Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera was arrested today following his return from Japan last night, Police said. Earlier he was summoned to the Colombo Magistrate Courts on charges of contempt of court after he participated in in a protest near the Bribery Commission. Colombo Magistrate issued a arrest warrant following his failure to appear on May 8.
