SLPP Presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has expressed his regret over the shooting incident involving MP SB Dissanayake's security personnel in Ginigathena, Polpitiya last evening.
Taking to his official Twitter handle Mr Rajapaksa said that if what was reported was true he urged authoritiies to take necessary action.
Against this backdrop Mr Rajapaksa said " My promise to uphold Law & Order remains a priority. I shall not hesitate to take stern action irrespective of rank, title or position"

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has interdicted Colombo Fort Magistrate Kosala Senadheera.
