Health Minister Rajitha Senarathne has been elected as one of the 34 members of the Executive Council of the World Health Organization, government news portal reported.
He will hold this membership for a period of two years.
This year’s WHO Executive Council was held on June 1-2 at the WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Minister Rajitha Senarathne also participated at the meeting
