There were tense scenes at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation's (CPC) oil instalation in Kolonnawa throughout today as the army and police moved into take control of the instalation from CPC workers who were on strike.
Several CPC workers were also taken into custody by police over charges of obstructing attempts to ensure fuel supply and distribution.
