President Gotabaya Rajapaksa visited the Parliament today (19) morning. He was accompanied to the chamber by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and the President paid attention to the second reading debate of the 2021 budget.
This is the first time the President sat in the Parliament since addressing the inaugural session of the new Parliament
