According to Indian media reports Sri Lankan naval personnel today allegedly hurled petrol bombs at a fishing boat from Thangachimadam causing damage to the boat The five occupants of the boat escaped unhurt and managed to douse the fire and bring the boat to the shore, according to a report in Outlook India. Indian Police who are investigating the matter alleged that Lankan naval men allegedly hurled bottles and wood to chase the fishermen fishing near Katchatheevu.
