Further investigations into the abduction of two businessman have revealed that the victims were suspects in several crimes and offences.
Police said the victims were previously involved in cases of murder, theft and illegal possession of firearms.
Further, the businessman identified as Manjula Kumara is claimed to have been a chief suspect in the shooting of a businessman in Anamaduwa in 2010.
