The Airport and Aviation Services of Sri Lanka (AASL) has called for invitation bids from corporate and private jet operators to consider Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) as a aircraft parking base during the current coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis period ensuring concessionary rates, a statement from the AASL said.
The advertisement notice issued by the AASL said that MRIA could facilitate all corporate and private jet categories along with Global Express, Gulf Stream, Embrare, Bombardier, Boeing and Beach craft etc.
"In this volatile and uncertain surrounding, we would like to invite you to consider MRIA as a base for aircraft parking and we will be able to offer you concessionary rates," the notice issued by AASL said.
