The Court of Appeal rejected the revised bail application filed on behalf former Minister Johnston Fernando and three others.
The Kurnegala High Court ordered former Minister Fernando and three others be remanded on September 03 till the conclusion of the trial.
The four suspects are indicted for misusing funds belonging to Sathosa Ltd.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
