Forty five (45) persons have arrived in the country from Doha, Qatar in two flights (QR 668 and UL 218) and thirty two persons from Chennai in two flights (6E 9034 and UL 1026) have arrived in the country today (14), the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-9 said.
Another four persons will be arriving from Abu Dhabi in a special passenger flight, the Centre said. Upon arrival they will be taken to military run quarantine centres.
Army Commander Shavendra Silva said bringing down Lankans stranded overseas will commence from Monday.
At present 2,956 persons are being quarantined in 31 quarantine centres.
