The Department of Labour has extended the deadline to register private sector establishments which have been affected due to COVID-19 pandemic until May 15, a statement from the office said.
Accordingly, the department has taken steps to undertake a survey on affected business institutions and requested to complete the survey on the department website. The department said that undertaking the survey is extremely important to take appropriate decisions in terms of protecting both the business and employment. The survey can be accessed here.
The Department of Labour also assured the confidentiality of data provided by the institutions.
