The Maldives Government has announced today that it will handover 15 Sri Lankan nationals currently serving prison sentences in the Maldives to the Sri Lankan Government as a goodwill gesture, foreign sources said.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
