Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived to the country early this morning on a two day official visit.
He was received by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera at he Bandaranaike International Airport(BIA).
He is expected to hold bilateral discussions with President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Wickremesinghe,and political party leaders including the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) and Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC).

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
