M S Mohamed Shiyam who was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) after being deported from Dubai on Tuesday, has been released.
Mr. Shiyam was released since he was not linked with any crimes, police said.
Meanwhile, W.L. Rajitha Perera who was also deported along with Mr. Shiyam, has been identified as a warranted suspect.
Accordingly, he has been produced before the Meegamuwa Magistrates Court, police noted.
