More than 15 million tramadol tablets were discovered during a raid by Police Narcotics Bureau and Sri Lanka Customs, local media reported. The tablets were seized from a freight container at the Colombo Port.
Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera speaking to local media said the value of the haul was yet to be determined.
The container which was bound to Libiya had arrived from India.
