More than 400 persons have been arrested for drunk driving offences over the last 24 hours, police said.
The arrests had been made after the Police Department had launched a one-month operation to crack down on drunk drivers.
A total of 796 suspects have been arrested so far during this special exercise.
This operation commenced on July 5 and will be in effect until August 5.
