Singer Nadeemal Perera has been released after recording a statement at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) a short while ago.
The singer who was deported from Dubai last month, arrived at the CID for a questioning this afternoon.
He was initially released following a questioning by the CID upon arrival in the country.
Mr. Perera was arrested along with 30 others which included underworld leaders such as 'Makandure Madush' and 'Kanjipaani Imran' in Dubai.
