Inspector of Police Neomal Rangajeewa and Prisons Commissioner Emil Ranjan Lamahewa, who were arrested over the Welikada Prison riots in 2012, have been further remanded until October 02. 

The order was issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage when the case was taken up before the Colombo Magistrates Court today.
