New Deputy Speaker to be appointed on June 5
A new Deputy Speaker of Parliament will be elected on June 5 when the House next meets.
Thilanga Sumathipala has resigned from the post of Deputy Speaker and Chairperson of Committees of the Parliament this week.
Mr. Sumathipala served in this post from the 01st of September 2015.
