Naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command together with the Police Special Task Force, Puttalam nabbed a suspect with 2 kg of Kerala cannabis, during a search conducted in Nedunkulam locality in Puttalam, yesterday, Navy said.
The consignment of cannabis was arrested while it was being transferred for trade by a motorcycle. The arrested suspect, cannabis and motorcycle were handed over to the Puttalam Police for onward legal action.
