An individual has been arrested with illicit liquor in the vicinity of a children's park in Minuwangoda yesterday (Jul 14).
According to the police, the arrest had been carried out based on information received by the Special Task Force (STF).
More than 33 litres of illicit liquor had been recovered from the suspect who was located near the park in the vicinity of the Nilpanagoda housing scheme.
He has been handed over to the Minuwangoda Police for further investigations.
