One suspect has been arrested with more than 33,000 kilos of dust tea in Aduruppu Veediya yesterday (Jun 30), police said.
The arrest had been carried out upon a tip-off received by the Special Task Force (STF).
Two electronic scales and 59 lables had been seized from the suspect at the time of the arrest.
The suspect has been handed over to the Aduruppu Veediya Police for further investigations.
