Pakistani national arrested at BIA for possession of heroin
A Pakistani national has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International airport (BIA) by the Customs Narcotics Division for the possession of heroin.
The suspect was found to be in possession of high-quality heroin weighing 1.6 kg hidden in his luggage.
Customs officials said the heroin is valued at Rs. 16 million.
