The officer-in-charge of the Panadura (North) police station has been suspended from his services after two firearms had gone missing from his police station.
According to the Police Headquarters, the suspension had been imposed based on the details revealed through an investigation which is being carried out into the incident.
The probe had been launched after two T-56 rifles had gone missing from the police station on July 06.
