Parliament sittings to be restricted as mark of respect to late Maha Nayaka thera
Parliament sittings will be restricted to a half day on Thursday as a mark of respect for the late Maha Nayaka of the Amarapura Chapter Most Ven Davuldena Gnanissara thera.
The funeral of the Maha Nayaka Thera who passed away on Monday will be held with full state hours on Thursday afternoon at the Independence Square.
The adjournment debate on the Geneva resolution on Sri Lanka to be moved by the Opposition will be held from 10.30a.m. to 3.00p.m.
