Parliament was suspended a short while ago after a group of MPs staged a protest in the well of the house accusing the government of betraying the soldiers by agreeing to a hybrid court. The MPs led by Wimal Weerawansa unfurled a big banner stating "don't allow the hybrid war court that betrays the soldiers." Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala was presding whent the unruly scenes took place. The house resumed 15 minutes later and the business of the house continued. Chandani Kirinde
