Party leader's agree to take up 2019 Budget and Appropriation Bill in Parliament on Feb 05

The Appropriation Bill and the Annual Budget debate for 2019 was approved during today's party leaders meeting to be taken up in Parliament on February 05.

Accordingly, the Appropriation Bill outlining the government's expenditure for 2019 will be submitted before Parliament on February 05 while the debate on the budget will also commence on the same date.

It was also decided at today's meeting to conduct the third reading of the budget within the first week of April.
