Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has said that he is confident of enhancing the bilateral friendship between India and Sri Lanka during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's second term in office.
Issuing a congratulatory message to his Indian counterpart who was re-elected for the second time, Mr. Wickremesinghe pointed out that the support received by Mr. Modi through the people was an indication to their trust and confidence in his leadership.
"I look forward to work closely with you to take forward the ongoing inititatives in our multi-faceted sectors of cooperation, for the mutual benefit of our people," the Premier emphasised.
Mr Wickremesinghe further conveying his best wishes to the re-elected Premier's health and happiness as well as the prosperity and the well-being of the Indian people.
