Over 500 persons were taken into custody for violating curfew during the 24-hour period from 6.00am yesterday (30) to 6.00am this morning (31), Police Headquarters stated.
According to police, 508 persons and 125 vehicles were taken into police custody during this period for violating curfew.
Police stated that 7358 persons and 1768 vehicles have now been taken into custody over curfew violations since 6.00pm on March 20.
