Special surveillance operation will take place during the weekend to arrest quarantine curfew violators in Western province, Police Spokesman Deputy Inspector General Ajith Rohana said.
He said mobile police patrols will be deployed in curfew-imposed areas.
Legal action will be taken against 2532 persons who violated quarantine curfew rules since the curfew was imposed in the province with 382 vehicles taken into police custody.
