The police are seeking public support to identify another individual in connection with the Easter Sunday attacks. The police believe the suspect was involved in purchasing the vehicle which was used by the suicide bomber involved in the Kochchikade Church attack.
Security forces later traced this vehicle and carried out a controlled blast to defuse the explosives in the vehicle. Police believe the suspect they are currently looking for was also instrumental in modifying this vehicle.
It was previously confirmed that the owner of the vehicle was the suicide bomber involved in the Kingsbury Hotel attack. According to eye witnesses the Police have released four possible sketches believed to be of the suspect in question.
Shoud any information regarding this individual be known among the public the Police have requested that the CID be informed immediately.
The public can provide information to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) regarding the suspect on the following numbers - 011 24 22 176 and 011 23 92 900.
