Popular singer Amara Ranathunga passes away
Popular singer Amara Ranathunga passed away yesterday (Oct 15) at the Colombo National Hospital.
She was 79 years old at the time of her death. Ms. Ranathunga was admitted to the National Hospital a few days ago according to hospital sources.
Her husband is also a well-known singer Dayarathna Ranathunga. The funeral is to take place on Thursday.
