Postmistress dies in fire at sub post office

The postmistress of the Kurundugahahetekma sub post office in Elpitiya has died after a fire at the sub post office this morning. 

The deceased was 49 years of age. 

Exactly what caused the fire remains a mystery and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
