Power outage in several areas

A power outage has been reported in several areas this morning due to the tripping of the Pannipitiya-Biyagama Main Supply Line. The technical failure has occurred on a 220KV main power line. 

As a result of the technical fault, power supply to areas in Dehiwala, Mt. Lavinia, Ratmalana, Panadura, Pannipitiya and Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte have been disrupted. 

Efforts to repair the fault and restore electricity are currently ongoing.
