President Maithripala Sirisena has left for Kenya today (Mar 13) in order attend the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) that would run until March 15.
The President would take part in the conference upon a special invitation extended by Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Mr. Sirisena is set to deliver a special address at the forum to be attended by delegates representing several countries tomorrow.
French President Emanuel Macron and a few other French state officials are also expected to attend the event.
