Presidential Commission appoints team to be deployed aboard Avant Garde vessel

Secretary to the Presidential Commission appointed to look into large scale fraud, Lasil de Silva told local media that a team appointed to be deployed aboard the Avant Garde vessel will be dispatched on Wednesday. He was quoted as saying said that a warrant for this purpose had been obtained from the IGP. Accordingly, the secretary said that a team comprising of the releveant officers will be deployed today. The officers will take a census of all the weapons found aboard the ship.
