A committee which was appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena to resolve the issues faced by police officers will meet in Battaramulla on March 05.
Police officers will be able to put forward their employment grievances including transfers, promotions, and disciplinary action before the committee on the said date.
The five-member committee which is chaired by President's chief-of-staff H.M.P. Hitisekara will function under the supervision of Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando.
