President's intention of bringing Police under his purview revealed : MP Shantha Bandara

The SLFP Youth Front has said that the country has now understood the reason as to why the President had decided to bring the Police department under his purview.

Although certain people claimed that it was for a political motive it is now understood that the President had done so in order to curb the usage of narcotics, SLFP Youth Front Chairman MP Shantha Bandara said.
